What is DayGrade?

DayGrade is a tiny nightly ritual. You rate your day from 1 to 10 and (optionally) add context tags. Over time, the app helps you spot patterns.

Do I need an account?

DayGrade is designed to work without requiring you to create an account.

Is DayGrade free?

DayGrade may offer optional in-app purchases or subscriptions. Any pricing and trial details (if available) are shown in Apple’s purchase sheet.

Subscriptions & Premium Access

I purchased premium but the app is still locked

  1. Open DayGrade and go to SettingsPremium.
  2. Tap Restore Purchases.
  3. If it still doesn’t unlock, close the app completely and reopen it.
  4. Make sure you’re using the same Apple ID that purchased the subscription.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. On iPhone: SettingsApple IDSubscriptions.

I’m testing via TestFlight

TestFlight builds use Apple’s sandbox environment for in-app purchases. You may see the purchase sheet, but sandbox transactions do not create real charges.

Troubleshooting

My entries don’t seem to save / update

  • Force-quit DayGrade and reopen it.
  • Make sure you’re on the latest build (especially on TestFlight).
  • If the issue persists, email support with your device + iOS version and what you were doing right before it happened.

Tags or insights look wrong

  • Double-check the date of the entry you edited (it’s easy to update the wrong day when scrolling).
  • If you recently changed tags, reopen the app to ensure everything refreshes.
  • If you think something is genuinely inconsistent, send support a short description and (ideally) screenshots.

Crashes or performance issues

  • Update to the latest iOS version available for your device.
  • Update DayGrade to the latest version.
  • Send a report with the steps that triggered the crash.

Privacy Policy

Summary

DayGrade is built to be privacy-first and to collect as little data as possible. The core experience is intentionally simple: a daily rating and optional context tags.

Data DayGrade may process

  • Entries you create: your daily rating (1–10) and any tags or notes you choose to add.
  • Basic technical diagnostics needed to troubleshoot issues you report (e.g., device model, iOS version, app version), only if you email support or submit TestFlight feedback.

What we do NOT do

  • No selling of personal data.
  • No ads or cross-app tracking.
  • No requirement to create an account for the core experience.

Data retention

DayGrade does not ask you to submit your personal entries to developer-controlled servers as part of normal usage. If you contact support, the information you include in your email is used only to respond and troubleshoot.
